Benedict Cumberbatch as Christopher Tietjens in Parade’s End.
"I have such a huge affection for Christopher, more so than almost any other character I’ve ever played. I sympathise with his care, sense of duty and virtue, his intelligence in the face of hypocritical, self serving mediocrity, his appreciation of quality and his love for his country. He is a noble if accidental hero fighting for relevance, a man out of time who is struggling with political and economic injustice.” (BC)
I’ve posted a few snippets from the children’s book I created this quarter. This has been such wonderful finale to my SCAD experience. Please, please take this sequential art elective— it’s so rewarding to create a hardbound 32-page book in only 10 weeks!
Wish me well as I test the waters of publication!

Dumb Sharks: A collection
Sighted by Melani Huggins
Thanks to everyone who visited my table at the Mini Comics Expo and snagged a monster sticker.
There was an enormous response to my call for submissions— tons of YOUR CRITTERS are going to be posted this week, so head on over to my side blog, Help! I Found Something.
I’ve started a daily monster design blog that you all should follow. Eggs are “discovered” one day, and the next night they hatch! See what precious critters are on their way today on my side-blog, Help! I Found Something.
The project has really taken off and I’m taking submissions. All you gotta do is draw five eggs and the five hatchlings. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with your JPGs and tumblr/site URL and you’ll be featured!
Also, for my SCAD classmates! Make sure to swing by the Mini Comics Meet-up next Saturday, March 1st. Check out everyone’s awesome stuff and snag yourself some stickers.
